Save Tony Gentile

Help us find him a kidney donor.

We Are the Gentiles

Hello and welcome. We are so glad that you’re here.

We are Tony, Raffie, and Isabella Gentile, and we are reaching out for your help.

Tony, our beloved husband and father, is in urgent need of a kidney transplant due to Stage 5 kidney failure. This late stage of kidney disease means that Tony’s kidneys are functioning at less than 15% of their normal capacity, requiring regular dialysis to manage his health.

As we navigate this challenging journey, we aim to raise awareness about the critical need for kidney donation and encourage those who may be able to help. Here, you will find information about Tony’s story, the importance of kidney donation, and how you can support us in our quest for a donor.

Thank you for visiting and for your support in spreading the word. Together, we can bring hope and healing to Tony and our family.

Tony’s Story

In April 2000, Anthony and his family faced an unimaginable tragedy when his father was tragically struck by a car while crossing the street. At just 17 years old, Anthony’s life was irrevocably altered that night, plunging him into heavy grief that ultimately led to depression. Compounding his struggles, one of his prescribed medications caused him to develop kidney disease.

By August 2015, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 chronic kidney disease, and since then, he has been consistently seeing a nephrologist to monitor his kidney health.

In May 2023, filled with hope, Anthony and his wife, Raffie, visited Hartford Hospital to explore the kidney transplant program. Anthony finally qualified to be a kidney transplant recipient, due to his worsening condition but also his hard work to lose 90 pounds over the previous year. Since then, their family has been tirelessly searching for a living kidney donor.

Unfortunately, in February 2024, the urgency of Anthony’s situation deepened when he was diagnosed with Stage 5 chronic kidney disease, also known as End-Stage Kidney Disease. This news has weighed heavily on him and his loved ones, bringing profound sadness as he grapples with the reality of having less than 10% of his kidney function remaining.

Born and raised in Norwalk, Anthony has always cherished family values. After getting married three years ago, he and Raffie started a new life together in Stamford, where they are nurturing their beautiful baby girl, Isabella. As a devoted father, Anthony longs to be present for every milestone in his daughter’s life. As a young family facing these daunting challenges, we reach out to our community with open hearts.

Raffie is not only dedicated to finding a kidney donor for Anthony, but she is also lovingly caring for their beautiful one-year-old daughter during this difficult time.

We are urgently seeking the kindness of a generous person who can help support Anthony in his time of need. Your willingness to consider being a potential donor could be the gift of life that allows Anthony to continue to share precious moments with his family.
